The phone, answered: Helloforward for tattoo studios

Helloforward is an answering agent for your business line. It is built on AI, it talks like a person, and it does the desk work: answers, books consults with the right artist, texts back, leaves a note. Here it is on a studio's phone, using an invented studio called Black Heron Tattoo.

A call comes in, needle down

Sam wants a fine-line piece on his forearm and someone to talk it through with. The phone rings, you do not lift your hand, and the line answers. It names Rosa, books a consult Thursday at 3, and texts the deposit note.

Home, while a call is on. The number, the clock, and the notes waiting under it.

It knows the studio's rules

It answers from what you told it once: each artist's style and days, your minimum, deposits, walk-ins, aftercare. Then it fills in the columns you asked for.

  • “How much would a palm-sized colour piece run?”

Your minimum and how you quote. It does not price work it has not seen.

  • “I got tattooed Tuesday, is it normal for it to be this itchy?”

Reads back your aftercare notes, and leaves Theo a message to look.

  • “Oi, quero fazer uma manga em blackwork.”

Answered in Portuguese, consult booked with Theo for Saturday.

Texts, handled the same way

A text to your line gets the same care: a confirmation when the consult lands, an answer when it is a question, and your own words when you want to step in.

Ring your own line, and it works for you

The line knows your number. Call the studio from your own phone and it becomes your assistant: what came in today, remind me to order black, who called during that session. Text it if that is easier with gloves on.

An assistant between sessions

Every business gets an assistant of its own. Ask it in plain words: confirm tomorrow's clients, did Priya's piece look okay. It reads the calendar and the call log, so it already knows.

Every artist

Add each artist as a team member. Clients book with the artist they want, each artist sees their own lane, and each has an assistant of their own. Ten dollars a month a chair. Bookings sync with Google Calendar if you use it.

Setting it up

I

Forward your line

Keep the studio number. Forward the calls nobody picks up, so it still rings at the desk first. Or take a new local number.

II

Describe the studio

Artists and styles, days in, deposit and minimum, walk-in policy, aftercare notes. A few minutes, once.

III

Call it yourself

Ring the line, ask for a consult, watch it land on the calendar. Change anything from the app.

Forwarding codes for every carrier are in this note. Black Heron and everyone in these screens are invented; the screens are the real product.

The next call is taken care of.

Set up in minutes. First month free, no card needed.

Start your free month

Or hear it answer first. It runs a demo plumbing company; yours would answer for your business.
