The phone, answered: Helloforward for barbershops

Helloforward is an answering agent for your business line. It is built on AI, it talks like a person, and it does the front-desk work: answers, books with the right barber, texts back, leaves a note. Here it is on a barbershop's phone, using an invented shop called Fade District.

A call comes in mid-fade

Jayden wants anything with Marcus today. The phone rings, clippers keep running, and the line answers. It offers 4:15, asks fade or fade and beard, books it, and texts Jayden.

Home, while a call is on. The number, the clock, and the notes waiting under it.

It knows the prices and the walk-in rule

It answers from what you told it once: hours, prices, who is in on which days, walk-ins till 6. Then it fills in the columns you asked for.

  • “How much for a fade and a beard trim?”

Forty-five together, exactly as you set it. Nothing made up.

  • “Do I need an appointment or can I just come by?”

Walk-ins till 6, bookings after. Whatever your answer is, that is the answer.

  • “Oi, vocês falam português?”

Answered in Portuguese, Andre booked Saturday 11:00 for two cuts.

Texts, handled the same way

A text to your line gets the same care: a confirmation when the cut is booked, an answer when it is a question. When you want to step in, you type in the same thread.

Ring your own line, and it works for you

The line knows your cell. Call the shop from it and it becomes your assistant: who's booked after four, remind me to order guards, who called during that last cut. Text it, if that is easier.

An assistant between the cuts

Every business gets an assistant of its own. Ask it in plain words: confirm tomorrow's clients, who's booked after four. It reads the calendar and the call log, so it already knows.

Every chair

Add each barber as a team member. Clients book with the one they want, everyone sees their own lane, and each barber gets an assistant of their own. Ten dollars a month a chair. Bookings sync with Google Calendar if you use it.

The week, by chair. Marcus in orange, Andre in blue, Leo in green, walk-ins in the gaps.

Setting it up

I

Forward your line

Keep the shop number. Forward the calls that go unanswered, so it rings in the shop first. Or take a new local number.

II

Describe the shop

Hours, prices, who works when, walk-in policy, how it should sound. A few minutes, once.

III

Call it yourself

Ring the line and book a cut. Watch it land on the calendar. Fix anything from the app.

Forwarding codes for every carrier are in this note. Fade District and everyone in these screens are invented; the screens are the real product.

The next call is taken care of.

Set up in minutes. First month free, no card needed.

Start your free month

Or hear it answer first. It runs a demo plumbing company; yours would answer for your business.
